Day 329: Recap!

Day 323: All In A Day's Work

Today we talked about how God does so much in a day that in our eyes in would amount up to a thousand years. We talked about how God is constantly moving and even though we may have to wait a bit longer His timing is nothing less than perfect. We focused on 2 Peter 3:8.

"It’s really God that’s giving us the means to take care of ourselves. We have to set ourselves aside to see and understand how the glory of God is constantly being played out in our lives."

Day 324: God Wants the Best For Us

Today we talked about how God only wants the best for us. We talked about the common misperception that God is some mean old man in the sky that wants us all to perish. Spoiler alert, it's not true. We focused on 2 Peter 3:9.

"He calls us to repentance so that anything blocking us from Him can be removed and we can have freedom to dwell in His presence."

Day 325: Patience My Love

Today we talked about seasons inspired by the Hillsong Worship song 'Seasons" off their later album. We focused on the lyric, "If you are not done working, then God I'm not done waiting." We focused on Psalms 27:14.

"Sometimes we act as if God is only making us wait because He can, we act as of God is making us wait for no reason at all. But have we ever considered that the reason we are still waiting is because God is not done working?"

Day 326: Thanksgiving!

So today was thanksgiving in America, so we talked about taking the time out not to ask for anything but to thank God. We talked about how important it is to sometimes just stop and thank God for all the wonderful things He has done and He is doing. We focused on Psalms 28:7 and Psalms 30:12. 

"There is something beautiful about acknowledging what He has done and what He continues to do."

Day 327: Ride It Out 

Today we talked about waves and surfing, and what that means is we talked about how living life can sometimes feel like trying to surf a storm without falling off your board. We talked about how sometimes the storm can be very strong but we have to ride it out. We focused on Hebrews 10:32-36. 

"Life is scary, sometimes those waves are bigger than we thought, but even in those moments of fear we have to ride them out. God knows what we can take and we cannot just walk away because we are afraid, but we must endure, we must endure because we know what’s on the other side, we know what it will all be worth in the end."

Day 328: It Makes No Sense

Today we talked about walking in the light, and how if we are going to walk in the light with Christ we cannot have an ounce of darkness in us. We talked about how we sometimes hold on to darkness because for the longest time it was all we knew. We focused on 1 John 1:5-7.

"It makes no sense for us to claim that we walk in light when we are still living in darkness. We must let go of anything keeping us in the dark and know that God is taking us on a beautiful journey and we cannot get to where we are going in we cannot see, spiritually and physically."

Day 295: When I Seems Impossible

Today we talked about how God is always there for us, how in our darkest moments he is there. We talked  about how when things seem impossible God will always step in to show us that nothing is impossible for Him. We focused on Luke 18:27 and Romans 5:3-5.

"God is molding and shaping us into the people He wants us to be and that will not always be easy, nor will it feel good, but it will be worth it."

Day 296: Right By Who?

Today we talked about how good deed are not a substitute for living like Christ. We talked about how we sometimes equate being a good person with being a God fearing person. We focused on Colossians 3:17, 1 Corinthians 13:1-3, and 1 John 4:8.

"Jesus was less concerned with how many people saw what He was doing and more concerned with how many were saved. We are so concerned with how people see us that we forgot that the only opinion that really matters is the one we are ignoring, God."

Day 297: God's Discipline

Today we talked about God's discipline and correction and how it does not feel good but it is good for us. We talked about how God corrects us and disciplines us because He loves us, He raises us like a parent raises their child. We focused on Hebrews 12:3-11.

"He loves us enough to hurt our feeling for a little while in order to make sure that we are walking and living how we are supposed to. He’s willing to hurt our feelings for a little while in order to teach us and raise us. Sometimes love is brutally honest and cannot spare our feelings, but it doesn’t mean that it is not love."

Day 298: Act on the Word

Today we talked about doing more than just hearing the word of God and acting on it. We talked about how the Word of God is meant to influence the way we live, and how it should take root in us. The scriptures are God's life instructions for us, so we must take it and put it into action. We focused on James 1:22-25.

" We take the word of God with us wherever we go because it is in us. It has take root and manifested within us. We do not sit Jesus on a shelf once we are done with Him that’s not how it works."

Day 299: It Takes Faith

Today we talked about the "basics of Christianity" we talked about how our relationship with God is built on faith. How our entire belief system is built on faith. We talked about how the first step of knowing God is believing that He is who He says He is. We focused on Romans 10:9-10 and Hebrews 11:1.

"We must have a heart full of faith in God, it’s what allows us to draw closer to Him, it allows us to have a relationship with Him. Faith allows us to persevere.  It is everything we need in order to serve God. "

Day 300: Faith Is Active

Today we did a part two of yesterday, we took it a step further and talked about how faith when it comes to serving God is an action word. We focused on James 2:17, 20-23.

" Are we putting our faith in the things that God says He’s going to do, are we putting our trust in His promises or are we putting our faith and trust in Him?"

Day 280: Recap!

Day 274: The One He Left the 99 to Find

Today we talked about the measures Jesus took just to save us. We talked about how He would be willing to leave the 99 to find the one that was lost, to find to one that had strayed. We talked about how great His love is for us that He would do something like that. We focused on Luke 15:3-7.

"He loves us so much that instead of replacing us, which He can do if He wanted, He leaves the ninety-nine to find us. "

Day 275: More Than Exist

Today we discussed how we are to do more than just exist and "get by". We talked about how God wants to live our life and enjoy it, He gave us a life for a reason. We talked about how sometimes we are so focused on making life "worth living" and overlooking the fact that every moment is worth living. How we should not wait for life to be perfect before we start living. We focused on Ecclesiastes 18:5, 3:11-13, and11:9.

"What I’m saying is, life is beautiful, enjoy it, be happy. Don’t get stuck in going through the motions. There’s more than just getting by. Why only stay afloat when we can swim."

Day 276: Good to Everyone

Today we talked about being good to everyone. We talked about how we are not to live our lives seeking revenge on the one's that have hurt us or done us wrong, but we are to love and be kind. With everything going on in the world we can use some kindness. We focused on 1 Thessalonians 5:15.

" Treat others how you want to be treated not how they treat you, There is something so freeing and beautiful about not seeking revenge but loving people through the pain and doing good in evil situations."

Day 277: Less Talk More Prayer

Today we talked about how easy it is to gossip but more beneficial to pray. We talked about how prayer can change things while gossiping lips do nothing but spread things. One works and the other doesn't. We were challenged to pray for people, and not talk about them, and actually pray when we're saying we're going to. We focused on Psalms 34:13, 1 Thessalonians, 5:25, 1 Timothy 2:1-2, and Galatians 6:1. 

"It’s easy to gossip and talk about people but how much better would it be if we talked to God about them, If we prayed for them. We can easily go to a friend and talk about how bad someone is doing and have it change nothing but what about when we talk to God about it."

Day 278: Patience With Everyone

Today we talked about patience with other people. We talked about how one of the fruits of the spirit is patience and that it is one of the many ways in which we are called to love our neighbors. We focused on 1 Thessalonians 5:14.

"If we took the time to encourage and take care of one another, being patient would not be an issue. But the problem with that is taking time for someone else is taking time away from self. When we think about it,  impatience is a pretty selfish trait."

Day 279: Hold On to What is Good

Today we talked about how we are to hold on to what is good. We talked about how there are certain thing sin our lives that stick with us forever. We talked about taking hold of the good things and doing away with all the bad and evil things that life has to offer. We focused on 1 Thessalonians 5:19-22

"Even if we do hold on to things that are bad for us, or the things people have done to us to hurt us, we eventually come to the realization that it is not good for us. So  we let those things go. However the things that are good tend to stick with us forever, and that’s the beautiful thing about life. We are so often under the impression that we as humans remember the bad things over the good, however that is not always true. No matter how angry we are at someone, and we may not want to admit it, there is so much good we see in them."

Day 233: Recap!

Day 226: Unpacking Romans 12-Good Overcomes Evil

Today we finished out the "Unpacking Romans 12" series and addressed some of the issues facing our world and communities today. We talked about how love is the only way to move forward and get past all the hate be spewed by so many people. We talked about how even in the midst of all of the injustice and racial tensions we must pray for those who are persecuting us. We focused on Romans 12:21.
"The only way we can overcome the evils of this world is by doing good. Evil cannot beat good. Hate cannot beat love. Dark cannot be light. Fear cannot beat hope. So today I want to encourage the body of Christ to love in the face of hate, to do good in the face of  evil. Be a light in the dark."

Day 227: All Summed Up

Today we broke down Romans 13:8-10 and as you can read in the devo, it had me shook! We talked about how through love we are fulfilling the law set forth by God through Mosed in the Torah. We talked about how loving God and loving each other drives us to righteousness and allows us to follow the laws of God and obey all of His commandments (you gotta read it).

"By obeying these two commands we obey all ten commandments. We do not ignore the law in the name of Jesus instead we honor it by following His path. What I mean is that Jesus gave us these two great commands to love God and love people. Now if we love God, ourselves, and others these commandments are fulfilled. Simply because love is the foundation of it all. We don’t hurt the people we love, we won’t steal from them, kill them, covet what have, sow discord, because love won’t allow us to do it. It’s almost as if love obeys the commands for us. When we love God we won’t put anything before Him or use His name in vain. Love won’t allow it."

Day 228: Pass No Judgement

Today we start a three part series, kind of. We talked about Romans 14: 1-6, and for the next two day we built on this subject. Today we talked about passing judgements on others who decide to live differently than us. We were talking about those who live sinful lives as opposed to Godly lives. We talked about how we as Christians choose how we want to live our lives and that looks different for each of us. Some of us are more traditional while others are more modern or contemporary, just to name one scenario.

"All this to say, for lack of better words, don’t be petty. Don’t pass judgement on someone and doubt their devotion to Christ because their life does not look exactly like yours. We as the body of Christ should be lifting each other up, praying for one another every chance we get. That way, there’s no time or room to be petty and judgmental."

Day 229: You Decide

Today we built on yesterday's subject by talking about the lives we choose to live. We talked about how for certain areas in our lives we get to choose whether it's right or not. We talked about a number of subjects like choosing to drink or not to drink. We talked about how some things are looked down upon or deemed sinful within the Christian community but they aren't actually a sin. We also talked about not being made to feel guilty about your decisions. We focused on Romans 14:22-23 and Ecclesiastes 9:7.

" I think many times we kind of set up boundaries to keep ourselves from sinning. We live these compact lives in these boxes of comfort that will keep us out of harm's way, keep us from temptation and sin. We are so concerned with not sinning that we forget to live."

Day 230: Don't Be A Stumbling Block

Today we talked about not doing anything that will cause our brother or sister to stumble. We talked about how it's not always what we choose to do that causes someone else to stumble. But it can be our judgments and our need to look like good Christians by tearing someone else down because we don't agree with the life they are leading. We focused on Romans 14:13, 19.

"I believe there is something much bigger than whether we agree or disagree, that doesn’t matter. What does matter is that people are not turned away by our judgmental faces and comments. What matters is that we put someone’s soul before our opinions. What matters is that we do not become the obstacle someone has to get over in order to get to Christ."

Day 231: The Sheep and the Shepherd

Today we talked about following God and listening to His voice. We dove into the analogy of the sheep and the shepherd and how it is synonymous to our relationship with God. We talked about how important it is for us as the sheep to listen to God and trust Him in order to have a relationship with Him. We focused on John 10:26-27.

"I think another important message to learn here is that in order for us to follow Christ and listen to His word we must trust Him. The flock trusts the shepherd with their life, everything they are depends on the shepherd, they have learned to trust their shepherd and listen to His voice. They will not follow the wrong voice either. I believe that as followers of Christ, if we do not trust Him, we are wasting our time. When we don’t trust someone we hesitate to listen to them, we question everything they do, we will not give them a chance to be a part of our life. We cannot have a solid relationship without trust."

Day 232: The Sheep and the Shepherd

John 10:26-27

But you don’t believe me because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

Here, Jesus had just been told by the Pharisees, “If you are the Messiah tell us.”  To which Jesus responded, “I did tell you, you just don’t believe me… Then He goes on to say, you are not my sheep, my sheep listen to my voice and I know them. We cannot follow Jesus if we do not listen to His voice. We cannot be a part of His flock if we don’t listen to Him. We can be sheep, but we choose our shepherd. We choose to follow Christ or not, and those of us who listen to His voice, are His sheep. If we aren’t listening to Christ and following Him we are not one of His sheep.

Before I go any further into today’s devo I want to first explore the relationship of the sheep and the Shepherd. There are so many mind blowing parallels as to how our relationship with God is synonymous to the relationship between the sheep and the Shepherd.

While researching I came across a blog post that put it all in perspective and dug deep into the meaning of these relationships and why it is so relevant for us as followers of Christ. There were a few things that stood out to me that I’d like to make note of.

“Guidance for the sheep. The Eastern shepherd never drives his sheep as does the Western shepherd. He always leads them, often going before them. “And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them” (John 10:4). This does not mean that the shepherd is always in front of his sheep. Although he may be usually in that position when traveling, he often walks by their side, and sometimes follows behind, especially if the flock is headed for the fold in the evening. From the rear he can gather any stragglers, and protect such from a sly attack from a wild animal.”

The shepherd is a leader and protector of the sheep. He goes before them showing them the way, but He is always right there beside them. He is making sure that nothing can harm them. He’s protecting them as they go, and gathering the ones that seem to be straying away from the herd or wandering off. Sound familiar? This is how Jesus is to us, always by our side, He has gone before us and shown us the way and He is constantly leading us through life. Jesus isn’t going to let us get too far away from the flock because He’s right there to make sure that we get right back on track, and if we do get lost, he will come looking for us to bring us back.

“It is very important that sheep should not be allowed to stray away from the flock, because when by themselves they are utterly helpless.“

We cannot navigate through this world alone, we need Jesus. We desperately need Him. Without Him we are like lost sheep, we are wandering through this world with no direction, guidance, or hope, we’re lost. All of this is found in Christ, so apart from Him we are helpless, as the quote says.

I think another important message to learn here is that in order for us to follow Christ and listen to His word we must trust Him. The flock trusts the shepherd with their life, everything they are depends on the shepherd, they have learned to trust their shepherd and listen to His voice. They will not follow the wrong voice either. I believe that as followers of Christ, if we do not trust Him, we are wasting our time. When we don’t trust someone we hesitate to listen to them, we question everything they do, we will not give them a chance to be a part of our life. We cannot have a solid relationship without trust.

Another thing to note is that it is very important who we choose to follow here on earth. I’m talking about churches and pastors, especially when we are new Christians and we are looking for guidance. Ask God for discernment, because it is a dangerous thing to be led by someone who puts up a facade that they are leading you to Christ but leading the entire church astray. Be careful who you listen to and who you let influence you. At the end of the day you follow Jesus, and if someone is trying to lead you away from Him, they are not for you, no matter who they are or what they seem to represent.

2. Have you ever been led astray by your own doing?
3. Has anyone ever tried to lead you away from Christ?
4. Check your surroundings, and the people you call your leaders, are they leading you in the right direction?
5. If you are a leader, are you leading God’s people toward Him?

Prayer Time

Allow your answers to the above questions guide your prayer today. Ask God to give you the spirit of discernment and talk to Him about whatever is on your heart today.

If you have been led astray for whatever reason, now is the time to come back. Now is the time to rededicate or resubmit your life to Christ. Surrender to Him, ask Him to make you new. Know that He is standing there waiting with open arms, you’re not too far gone for Him to reach. You’re not a lost cause, Jesus loves you and He wants you near.

Day 229: Pass No Judgement

Romans 14:1-6

Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong. For instance, one person believes it’s alright to eat anything. But another believer with a sensitive conscience will eat only vegetables. Those who feel free to eat anything must not look down on those who don’t. And those who don’t eat certain foods must not condemn those who do, for God has accepted them. Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval. In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable. Those who worship the Lord on a special day do it to honor him. Those who eat any kind of food do so to honor the Lord, since they give thanks to God before eating. And those who refuse to eat certain foods also want to please the Lord and give thanks to God.

(Today’s devo is the first of three parts. For the next three days we will explore subjects that tie into one another or build on one another. It’s kind of like a mini series.)

The biggest point I want to make today is, do not pass judgement on someone because they live differently than you. Now I’ve seen this quote a multitude of times, however the word ‘live’ is replaced by the word, ‘sin’. But that’s not what I’m talking about today. I want to discuss how we as Christians are so quick to turn our noses up and look down on someone because they live differently than us. We tend to doubt someone’s Christianity because they aren’t living their life, or doing the things we think a Christian should do. We often project our lifestyles onto other people because we think our way is the only way. Maybe they’re more traditional in their faith and maybe they’re more contemporary or modern. Maybe they believe the Sabbath day is on a Saturday instead of a Sunday. Maybe they don’t eat certain things, or participate in certain activities because of their faith. Maybe you do all of these these because of your faith. What I’m getting at here is, it’s not a matter of how, and where, and when. But it’s more a matter of the heart. If we love God with every ounce of our being, and we know in our heart that He is God, and if we have confessed it with our mouths than we are saved. . If we truly live our lives dedicated to Him, then at the end of the day that’s all that matters.

I think sometimes we can get this “holier than thou” attitude, that somehow gives us to right to act superior to our brothers and sisters in Christ. We think that because we don’t live the exact same lifestyle then one of us must be doing it wrong. That is not the case at all, God gave us a choice and even in the will of God, we get to choose the type of lifestyle we want to lead. It’s not a matter of sin or righteousness, it’s just a choice.  Not all of us are going to make the same choices, but who are we to judge someone else because they decide that our life and our lifestyle isn’t for them.

Our generation can relate to this message a lot as millennials make up most of today’s contemporary churches. These churches get quite a bit of slack from the older generations and the more traditional churches. It’s a new type of church, where you don’t have to dress up, or have a traditional choir, there’s not really a pulpit for the clergy to sit on. It’s very unconventional. Different than what many of us grew up with.  However, it works, we may look different, or sound different, but the message is the same. Our worship time may look like a Hillsong United concert with the lights and ripped skinny jeans, but we are still singing about the goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our hearts are still near the cross. We profess our love for God. Traditional churches are the complete opposite. But the beautiful thing about it all, no matter what denomination, no matter where it is, how you look, there’s one thing we all have in common, the Good News. Every Christian church is preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ.

I believe Romans 4:17-19 wraps this message up perfectly. For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others will approve of you, too. So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up.

All this to say, for lack of better words, don’t be petty. Don’t pass judgement on someone and doubt their devotion to Christ because their life does not look exactly like yours. We as the body of Christ should be lifting each other up, praying for one another every chance we get. That way, there’s no time or room to be petty and judgemental.

Day 227: Unpacking Romans 12-Good Overcomes Evil

Romans 12:21

Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness, on light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.”

-Martin Luther King Jr.

These wise words were spoken by Martin Luther King Jr. at a time in history when segregation, and discrimination based on race had come to a boiling point in America. Black people, and people of color in America were oppressed simply because of the color of our skin. Many were: beat, killed, lynched, jailed, raped, turned down from jobs,, spit on, hosed down with fire hoses, attacked by police, attacked by police dogs, etc. This was all because there was a hate for the color of their skin. Martin Luther King had been put in jail multiple times, led peaceful protests, and gave beautiful speeches. As a God-fearing man, he refused to fight fire with fire, but he also stood up for what he believed in, no matter the cost. Kind of like Paul.  

Now when I planned this series, never did I think that I would be addressing this specific subject on this day. I am referring to the events in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend. Where hate has once again led to violence, pain, and death. I’m reminded of this scripture in light of everything going on, that we as a people, the body of Christ cannot be overcome by this. Especially my brothers and sisters of color, as it can be intimidating and scary to think that the color of your skin, something God gave you and He views as beautiful, trust me it wasn’t a mistake; however it is disheartening to think that something as simple as your skin tone can get you killed. Even in this dark truth I encourage you all to find hope in the Lord. To not be overcome by the hate we face each and everyday and what we see on television and social media. The only way we can overcome the evils of this world is by doing good. Evil cannot beat good. Hate cannot beat love. Dark cannot be light. Fear cannot beat hope. So today I want to encourage the body of Christ to love in the face of hate, to do good in the face of  evil. Be a light in the dark. I know that it hurts us, and not just the black and hispanic community, but we as the body of Christ should all be grieved by the fact that our brothers and sisters are being hurt, attacked, and murdered because of hate.

We have been seeing this for centuries. Not just in American History, but the history of the world. Even in the bible, the rifts between the Jew and Samaritans. The Hebrew people who were enslaved by the Egyptians. None of this is new, but we must be able to see it through the filter of God’s eyes. I cannot tell you why this type of stuff happens or why it has to happen but I can tell you that God is bigger than all of it. God’s love and light never runs out. As long as we know who is for us, we will never run out of hope.

All this to say, even in the midst of all this, it is our job to pray for those who persecute us. To do good to those who curse us. Now is the time, more than ever, to put everything that we talk about and preach about into action. We are called to love, we know this. But please don’t let your love be tainted by hate. Don’t let the good in you be taken away by evil. I beg of you, as hard as it may be, don’t run out of hope. Don’t stop seeing the bright side, there’s always a bright side. In the face of evil, don’t forget that God is good. God is love.

Day 219: Recap!

Day 212: Timeless Love 

Today we talked about love and falling in love and how it can seem timeless. We talked about how we learn to love from being loved, by God. We also touched on how we must love ourselves before we love anyone else, and that love is work. We focused on Genesis 29:20 Jeremiah 31:3.

"However, just because we’re falling in love with someone doesn’t mean we stop falling in love with God. God must always come first, always. Nothing and no one should ever come before Him. We must fall in love with Him more and more everyday. It is the only way we will be able to survive and live."

Day 213: Walk Through the Door

Today we talked about taking the opportunity God is providing for us without hesitation. We talked about how we are constantly praying and asking God to open doors for us but when the time comes for us to walk through it for some reason we hesitate. We focused on Matthew 7:7.

"I think sometimes we are so concerned and caught up with “the right thing” that we overlook the right thing. What I mean is that we put so much pressure on ourselves to do what is right that we are blinded by the very idea. We become so infatuated with the idea that we start to overlook the real thing."

Day 214: You're Not a Robot

Today we talked about how we sometimes turn ourselves into Jesus serving robots in order to look like good Christians. We talked about how we often ignore our feelings and impulses because we want to make sure that we look like what a good Christian. We focused on Matthew 16:24, Luke 22:42-44.

"All this to say, when we deny our feelings because of our faith, we are chasing false strength. Meaning we want to look strong because Christians aren’t weak. We put up a facade like everything is okay when we are dying on the inside. Denying our feelings and who we are in order to serve religion only begets more issues and problems within us. Following Christ is not about looking strong or looking like a good Christian. It is about submitting our life to Christ and living a life that follow His plan and purpose.  Embrace your feelings and embrace who you are. Serve God, not religion."

Day 215: Walk With Me

Today we talked about walking with Christ and what that means. We talked about how we are meant to live with God and how it is great to do life with someone else and letting that someone else be Jesus. We focused on Colossians 2:6, Micah 6:8, Genesis 5:24, and Genesis 6:9.

" We are meant to live our lives with God. If we want to do anything in this life and in this world worth something walk with God. When we walk with God he will lead us on a path of glory. He will take us where we need to go to get us where He wants us to be."

Day 216: Walk With Each Other

Today we talked about getting along with one another and doing all we can to walk in harmony with our brothers and sisters. We talked about how even though it is sometimes hard we have to do all we can to live in unity with our neighbors. We focused on Romans 112: 10,18.

"Do what you can to live in harmony with your brothers and sisters. That is not to say that we should not guard our hearts. Guard your heart. Proverbs 4:23, Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Don’t let your love be tainted because of how someone else treats you. Also don’t let your pride get in the way of you trying to get along with others. Don’t just give up on people, try and do all you can."

Day 217: Leah's Perspective

We ended the week where we started, with the same story in Genesis 29, but focusing on a different person. Today we took the time to focus on Leah and put ourselves in her shoes. We talked about how Leah was unloved and overlooked and how we often feel like that more times than not. We also talked about how God sees us when we feel invisible. We also talked about looking for love in all the wrong places and finding it in the one who is love. We focused on Genesis 29:16-35.

"All this to say, God sees you, and He loves you. Don’t look for love in all the wrong places. Even when you feel unwanted or unloved, know that God wants you and He loves you so much. More than you will ever know."
